| Organization Profile: | CEIT (E). is a non-profit Research Organisation, set up under the auspices of the University of Navarra at San Sebastián in 1982, which carries out contracted applied research and development work. CEIT is pledged to the provision of services to industry in order to improve its competitiveness in the international arena by carrying out research projects and training of Ph.D. students, focused on the production sector. Those thesis have allowed a wide advantage to go continuously beyond state of the art in our R&D projects and giving real innovative solutions to the industry. Multidisciplinary research activity is one of the main features of CEIT. We are made up of 9 areas: materials (power metallurgy, steel treatment and materials), mechanical engineering (experimental dynamics and simulation), electronics, communications, Microsystems and Environmental unit. This characteristic allows CEIT to undertake every year several Star-up companies. Nowadays there are almost 200 people working in such Spin-off companies. In addition, CEIT belongs to the IK4 alliance, composed of several technological centres in order to concentrate the critical research mass and available technological media, and subsequently, to be able to face bigger projects of great social and economical relevance. | |
