| Organization Profile: | Amerikaniko Kollegio Anatolia (Anatolia College) is a private, non-profit educational institution, now well into its second century of educating the elite of Greek youth. The institution evolved from a Christian seminary founded in 1840, was established as Anatolia College in 1886 in Merzifon (Asia Minor), and relocated to Thessaloniki (Greece) in 1924 – together with the entire Christian/Greek population which was moved from the Ottoman Empire to Greece. From its beginnings, Anatolia has offered education on all levels, from elementary school to high-school and university-level. Its student population is now around 2500 in all. The division of higher education, ACT, offers four-year Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs and a 1-2 year MBA. Anatolia College is governed by a Board of Trustees, headquartered in Boston, Mass. | |
