| Organization Profile: | Attention is paid especially to research on mobile robots with various locomotive abilities and different types of drive (including unconventional drives) and with different levels of autonomy and intelligence. In various processes cooperation human – robot is necessary considering the fact that they are not structured enough, e.g. with rescue robots Unconventional mobile service robots including their cooperation with both the human operator and other robots using means of artificial intelligence (fuzzy logic, neural networks and other). New technical and program means of mapping and orientation of robots in an unknown environment using softcomputing methods. Utilization of unconventional hardware devices (especially drives) in mobile robotics. The result of this research should be methodology applicable to design and construction of a robotic system capable of service activity in a specific environment, which is slightly structured and universal enough, and a typical sample construction of the robot. | |
